Hey, Brooklyn, Don't Start What You Can't Finish!
by Englishman init's strange how life has a tendency to balance things out, to ultimately repay us for both our bad deeds and our good deeds.. how ironic it is that the wtbts's policy on shunning has now become a major force that actually unites searchers for justice throughout the world!
what a smack in the teeth to this unilateral org, they themselves through their appalling treatment of ex's, have finished up simply pushing so called apostates into each others arms!.
would sites such as this exist if the wtbts rescinded their belief in shunning?

LATEST INSTALLMENT OF APOSTATE "DOOM"...
by You Know inas the last days wind down to their dramatic conclusion, prophecies that were heretofore obscure, over time have now come more sharply into focus.
one such prophecy that bears review is the oft-quoted verse concerning the "increasing of lawlessness.
" typically the watchtower has pointed to increasing criminal lawlessness in the world as evidence of the fulfillment of that particular feature of the sign of christ's imminent arrival.

And you say I do not know what I am talking about?
Yes, this is correct. You do not know what you are talking about. It is in fact mindless to assume that just because the brothers have had premature, even false expectations, that that annuls the fact that this system is in its terminal phase. / You Know

IF IF IF The Jehovah's Witnesses have been preaching IFs since the time of Russell, of course at the time of Russell the WT movement was refered to as (BS) Bible Students.
Not really. As far as we are concerned there is no "if" but only "when." In the case of Noah's flood the last days of that system run up to 120 years. So it is not at all unusual that the last days of the present world have extended over a considerable period of time.
The problem with you is that you teach and preach WT doctrine and ignore common sense. You also ignore what God is telling you through the man made errors of the organization you put so much stock in.
You really don't know what you are talking about. Common sense says this system is finished. There are many people who are not Jehovah's Witnesses who see what is really happening in the world, and they are rightfully frightened because they realize that something has got to give soon. You may choose to ignore reality, many do, but sooner or later reality is going to bite---HARD. / You Know

What's gonna happen when the last of those ~ 8,000 "annointed remnants" passes on to Heaven in the next few years? Does the "earthly organization" just dissapear altogether?
Those are actually two very good questions. The book of Isaiah has a rather extensive answer to that question, which not surprisingly, the Watchtower has never offered any commentary on that particular span of verses, for the simple reason that it presently remains that which Jehovah speaks of as being held in reserve. So I shall reserve comment on it as well. But, I will say that there is a brief period of time when there is no earthly representative of the hevenly kingdom. That is Scriptural. And, that's why we read in Revelation that the New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven, the obvious implication being that no remnant of it exists on earth at that time that it's rule is spread over mankind like a protetive tent. Hope that helps. / You Know

Sick of "prophecies"
by lookingnow22 ini'm going to ramble (rant) again!.
i am so sick and tired of hearing about this prophecy in the bible, and that prophecy in the bible.
i'm sick of hearing they were fulfilled by this person, that organization, some event.

I can understand you perhaps saying that people today could be "like them", or even draw a "parallel" to ones today. But what is your reasoning for it on being a prophecy?
Every chapter in Isaiah was some future fulfillment. The 30th chapter is Jehovah's judgments upon his people who are about to go down to Egypt for refuge. Egypt of course has a modern counterpart, but you are sick of that kind of thing. But verses 18-21 indicate how Jehovah will intervene during the time of distress to offer his people a way out of the tribulation. The rebellious ones though will have none of it and will seek to go it alone, with of course disastrous consequences for themselves. / You Know

I hate to tell ya this pal, but the prophecies foretold how some would develop your kind of attitude: "For it is a rebellious people...who have said to the ones seeing, 'You must not see,' and to the ones having visions, 'You must not envision for us any straightforward things. Speak to us smooth things; envision deceptive things Turn aside from the way; deviate from the path. Cause the Holy One of Israel to cease just on account of us.'" --- Isaiah 30:10

Get a life - stop posting. Why?
by philo innewbies and others are often saying, "move on", in other words, get a life, remove yourselves from the influence of wtism completely.
there are many good answers to this, but i think there is one answer, which has not been much considered.
the international 'apostate' world, to which we contribute, has mushroomed in the last 10 years in: numbers, public profile, influence on the wts policies (and in jws awareness), and in all areas of knowledge about the wt.

i will agree with you 110% when i came here i too felt that if a Tweaks her and tweaks there were done the wt would be just fine
How wrong you were! There is so much that needs to be corected and reformed that only Jehovah will be able to perform the task, which of course he promises to do in his own way and time.
and the message is simply if you don't accept our explanation of the bible- you will die
That is a bit of a distortion of the actual truth. Jehovah is the expert on this issues. What he said exactly is this: "Uless you people have faith, you will not be of long duration." The Bible actually has answers to your questions but you would rather use the Watchtower's defciencies as a pretext for accusing them rather than find any sort of explanation from Jehovah's word why things are the way they are. Your preference is to lie on your back whining about how the Watchtower stumbled you rather than to fight for your faith. You are, or were, a mere Dub Watchtowerite that had no real insight or faith in Jehovah and have therefore paid the price of having the structure of your cardboard shanty-like faith incinerated in the flames of doubt. As Jude said of the accursed children: "Too bad for them." / You Know

How can this organization be the one that is going to bring in the New Order when it is visible, earthly and LEGAL!
You seem to be a little confused here Mom. God's kingdom is a heavenly institution. It is going to be the organization that replaces human governments and brings in a new world. The Watchtower Society is only a legal publishing entity that serves a limited purpose. The real earthly organization consists of those whose citizenship actually belongs in the heavens, whose names have been inscribed, as it were, among those who will rule with Christ from heaven. Even though it is a visible earthly association, because it is made of of spirit-begotten individuals, it is therefore the visible part of the heavenly organization. So, the connection is, that while these ones are upon the earth they constitute a visble aspect of the invisible realm. That's why Paul could refer to anointed Christians as being seated in the heavenly places even while upon earth. That's also why Jesus said that anyone that listened and accepted the message of his earthly ambassadors accepted him and Jehovah as well. As long then as there are representatives of that heavenly city upon the earth, it is proper to speak of a visible organization. / You Know

From my observation of the development of the on-line apostate movement over the last 5 years or so, there has been a gradual move into more and more ungodliness, as of course the Scriptures foretell. One verse that comes to mind is the verse that foretells that "wicked men an imposters will advance from bad to worse, misleading and being misled." That "advancement" is readily observable. I recall a few years back, a lot of the focus was on how to go about "reforming" the Society, and a lot of well-meaning ones, who perhaps had experienced difficulties and doubts, were lured into that trap. Gradually, though, apostates have left off the idea of "reforming" the Wt and have come to more resemble a torch-carrying. pitchfork-weilding. Frankenstein mob storming the Watchtower castle. / You Know
